Image from boardcast.comMany people hesitate using online grocery shopping sites because they like to be able to hand select fruits and vegetables or simply like to browse the aisles for new products and items to try for dinner. For the most part, I fall into this category of shoppers. However, online grocery orders have been a lifesaver in a few occasions:
(1) Home with 3 kids under 5 years old and cannot image bringing all 3 to the store
(2) Stocking up on large items such as water crates and soda
(3) Buying diapers and wipes when I had a newborn at home
(4) Stocking up on non perishable items that are on sale
(5) Best of all, limiting impulse buying while at the store!
There are two sites, Secret Steals has used: Safeway and Peapod. Nothing beats having a personal shopper bring the groceries inside my door. Now, that is SERVICE!
